Alláen Casa

For Salvadoran families in the United States

You're here, they're back home.And they're not alone.

A trusted caregiver visits them, keeps them company, sees how they are and that they take their medications, and you get a photo and video report in Spanish after every visit. Even when you can't travel.

This is how the report reaches your phone

How it works

Three steps, and you can breathe.

You start from your phone in about two minutes.

  1. Tell us about your mom or dad

Fill out a short form: who they are, where they live and what they need. No paperwork, no long calls.

  2. We meet their home and their caregiver

We do an initial home assessment: how they're doing today, which medications they take and what to fix to prevent falls. Then we introduce you to their caregiver.

  3. She visits, you see it

On every visit she chats with them, sees how they are and that they took their medications. When she's done, you get the report with photos, video and location.

What you receive

After every visit, you know how they are. Really know.

No more “everything's fine, don't worry.” You get a report in Spanish with the time, location, notes on how they were and photos, so you can see for yourself.

  • Arrival and departure time, with verified GPS location
  • How she found them: mood, appetite and mobility, in her own words
  • Confirmation that they took their medications
  • The caregiver's notes plus photos or video from the visit

Notes from Carmen

Doña Rosa woke up in good spirits. She had breakfast and we walked ten minutes around the patio. I removed a loose rug from the hallway so she doesn't slip.

What a visit includes

Company, attentive eyes and helping hands.

Each visit lasts 60 to 90 minutes. Here is what your caregiver does.

  • Wellbeing check-in

She sees how they're feeling, whether they've eaten, how they move around the house and whether they need anything. She tells you in her own words, with photos.

  • Medications on track

She reminds them about their medications and checks that they were taken on time. She doesn't prescribe or change doses; if something doesn't add up, she tells you.

  • A safer home

Loose rugs, steps, bathroom lighting, cords. She spots what could cause a fall and shows you with photos.

  • Appointment escort

She takes them to the doctor, waits with them and tells you what was said. You can join by phone if you like.

  • Emergency coordination

If something happens, she helps reach emergency services, the hospital or whoever you named, and keeps you informed.

  • Real company

They chat, walk, share stories. Sometimes what they need most is someone coming by to see them.

Trust

We get to know whoever comes to their door first.

We know what it means to trust a stranger with your family. That's why every caregiver goes through this before visiting anyone.

  • PNC police clearance

We require a current police background certificate before accepting any caregiver.

  • Verified references

We talk to people who have worked or lived with her. If we can't confirm, she doesn't join.

  • Training

She's trained in companionship, respectful care, home safety and how to report. Always in uniform.

  • GPS-verified visits

Every visit is logged with time and location. If there's no log, there's no visit, and you see that in the report.

After each visit you can rate your caregiver. If something isn't right, we handle it and, if needed, assign a new caregiver.

Who is behind this

Built by someone who understands the distance.

I'm Hugo Salamanca. I live in Houston and have ties to El Salvador. Sending money home is easy. Knowing how your family is really doing is the hard part.

Allá en Casa exists for that: so a trusted person is there when you can't be, and you can see it with your own eyes.

We're just getting started, and I'd rather tell you plainly. That's why we're opening with founding families, a small group we can look after closely and listen to.

Frequently asked questions

What almost everyone asks.

How much does it cost?

Plans start at $79 a month (Visit), $149 (Weekly) and from $349 (Daily). There's a one-time $99 initial assessment. You pay in dollars by card, with no long-term contract, and we show you the total before you pay.

What if there's an emergency?

In an emergency, the first step is to call El Salvador's emergency services (911). If the caregiver is present, she helps reach them, tells the family and coordinates with the hospital or the person you named. Visits are scheduled, we're not there around the clock, and we can't guarantee response times.

Is this medical care?

No. Allá en Casa is non-medical companionship, wellbeing check-ins and coordination. Caregivers accompany, observe and report, but they don't diagnose, prescribe, provide treatment or perform clinical procedures. For anything medical, your family member stays with their doctor.

Can my siblings share the plan?

Yes. One subscription can have several relatives receiving reports and talking to coordination, in Houston, in another state or in El Salvador. Only one person pays.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. There's no long-term contract. Cancel whenever you like and the next month isn't charged. If you're a founding family, your first month is refundable.

How do I know the visit really happened?

Each visit is logged with arrival time, departure time and GPS location, and arrives with photos or video. If there's no log, there's no visit.

What if my mom or dad doesn't want someone coming over?

That's common. We start with a calm introduction, with you on the phone if you like, and go at their pace. Their comfort comes first.

How do I pay?

By card from the US, through Stripe. If you'd like another payment method, message us on WhatsApp and we'll work it out.

So your parents aren't alone, even when you're far away.
